•Efficient supply chain with competitive localization capabilities Position Overview: The Program Management Leader is responsible for the execution of customer strategies and care of a site’s customers. Develops and implements a program management strategy for new product introduction initiatives that supports the site’s vision and opportunities. Responsible for achieving high customer satisfaction, driving profitable business relationships and sales growth and providing strong leadership to the multiple site program managers and customer focus teams to ensure achievement of customer commitments.

Qualifications / Education / Experience
 May be responsible for managing the program management function of a site or managing a sub section of a site.  Builds relationships with customers and business development executives and collaborates on forecasting and pricing strategies to ensure profitability and attainment of site objectives. Maintains a thorough understanding of customer markets and competition.  Directs multiple program managers in continuous improvement programs, business analysis, costing and pricing, contract reviews, change management, on-time delivery, inventory and forecasting.  Directly supervise Account Managers, Programs Managers and Project Specialists and is responsible for their performance reviews and development  Mentors Program Managers in the review of contractual documents.  Responsible to General Manager to manage the revenue for assigned customers.  Assist General Manager in the Customer contract review process for renewal or new contracts.  Establishes necessary monitoring systems to maintain program visibility and control indirectly supervises and assists the Program Managers in driving the daily priorities of the customer focus team members when a member supports more than one team and there is a dispute on resource allocation (i.e. Schedulers, Supply Chain Analysts, Product Engineers and Configuration Analysts).  Reviews site inventory position and assists teams in developing strategies to manage inventory levels.  Conducts monthly Program Reviews utilizing Benchmark standard process.  Works with Program Managers for the accounts that he or she is responsible for to oversees the monitoring and control of schedules to meet program requirements and takes corrective action, as required, to correct unfavorable variances. Ensure Program Manages meet and manage customer demand in accordance with contract, site inventory objectives, equipment and personnel capacity for all customers he or she is responsible for.  May directly be assigned as a Program Manager to a large or complex account and in addition will be responsible to manage to the Program Manager responsibilities.  .  Ensures that the Program Management team is rapidly resolving MRB issues.  Holds the Program Management team accountable for the follow through and outcome of commitments and actions.  Attend BAM 5 Meetings to support program management initiatives.  Identifies opportunities for improvement within site and assigns Program Managers to lead continuous improvement activities.  Support and actively participate in senior divisional management activities  Interface between key managers of customer team members to ensure effective customer team deployment  Establish necessary reports and monitoring systems to maintain program visibility and control through Operations and Administration  Facilitate and direct the presentation of program status reviews to ensure management visibility, customer approval and internal coordination  Work with the division leadership team to develop the annual department business plan based on corporate objectives  Support sales activities from the Business Development Team  Demonstrates strong negotiating ability. Effectively explores alternatives and positions to reach mutually beneficial sales agreements that gain customers’ acceptance and commitment.  Drives solid understanding of the concepts and how to positively impact OI and RONA levers.  Manages and mentors Program Managers in the use of sound manufacturing process knowledge, understanding the process flow of products through the production floor.  Recruits, interviews and hires team members. Continuously assesses individual and team strengths and development needs. Coaches and mentor subordinates. Creates and manages succession plans.  Establishes clear measurable goals and objectives by which to assess individual and team results (i.e. metrics, results against project timelines, training documentation, knowledge of roles and responsibilities, personal development goals). Drives individuals and teams to continuously improve in key metrics and the achievement of organizational goals. Ensures that the responsibilities, authorities, and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood.  Drives a lean culture. Identifies creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (i.e. modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value-added processes, or complete re-engineering of processes and systems).
• Minimum of 8 years of program management experience and a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
• Experience with more complex and larger customer accounts
• Manager contract review process for renewal with customers or new contracts and obtain GM approval.

• 4-year degree in engineering or business discipline.
