Job Summary
Manages Warehouse activities required for the timely and accurate receipt, storage, disbursement and information system maintenance of production and consignment material. Continually evaluates the material movement process for increased efficiencies and optimal cost controls.

• Available for travel up to 25% of the time, including day, overnight and international as required
Qualifications / Education / Experience

• Ensure that Warehouse personnel are trained in proper policies and procedures regarding movement of material, both on the floor and within the MRP system
• Contribute to defining and implementing departmental policies and procedures
• Maintain and nurture an effective working relationship with manufacturing, program office and procurement personnel
• Evaluate and recommend improved equipment and techniques for maintaining organization and storage of production materials
• Support Discrepant/Excess/Obsolete material processing to assure timely removal from production floor
• Manage cycle count program and assets in periodic physical inventory of production materials
• Support division import/export policy and traffic needs to meet customer demand
• Contribute to the training and development of Materials Handling personnel Ensure personnel actions are consistent with Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action and other related company policies and procedures in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations 4 year degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management; 5+ years of experience in commodity purchasing/planning; 3+ years in a leadership role
