Job Summary
The Benchmark Lark Technology business is expanding rapidly and we need a proven business leader to focus on growing our RF component business, with commercial activities in Phoenix, Arizona and manufacturing operations in Tijuana, Mexico. Our ideal candidate has a strong RF/microwave technical background, experience in manufacturing operations of high performance electronic components that are part of critical Defense and Aerospace platforms to emerging commercial 5G telecom systems. A background of achieving revenue growth by working directly through a broad and varied sales network is essential to success. It’s a fast paced environment where your leadership is crucial to our future growth. Additionally, our new Channel Manager will take the lead in developing technical and commercial partnerships in the RF/Microwave industry to broaden our business reach

Essential Functions and Competencies

* Proven experience in manufacturing and/or engineering services in an engineering, business development, marketing & sales or leadership role with a track record of deploying new products and technologies, developing new customers and winning new business * High degree of business and financial acumen as well as sound strategic and tactical decision making * Solid experience in creating effective strategies and business plans to develop new channel partners. Effective in assessing markets, technologies and business opportunities to create long term revenue/profitability. * Strong understanding of commercial contracts and expert negotiating skills * Proven ability and track record of interfacing with and developing strong interpersonal relationships with senior level management at customers, suppliers and other industry partners
Qualifications / Education / Experience
* Develop, deploy and execute business and operational plans, technical strategies, including sustainable growth targets that achieve financial goals * Recognized subject matter expert with deep knowledge of RF component market trends, needs, competitors, particularly with respect to RF filters. * Works effectively within a matrix organization including multiple sites and product/service areas. * Establishes appropriate partnerships, relationships and processes to execute strategic and tactical plans * Analyzes and understands Industry, customer and competitor business strategies, technology trends and market needs to create future product/service plans, expansion, acquisition, and outsourcing activities with alignment to Benchmark global strategies * Develops and execute plans to achieve booking targets working through multiple independent sales reps. * Experienced at managing an effective network of independent technical sales reps located in the US and Europe 10 years in technology based field, preferred in RF/microwave electronics Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline required
