Qualifications / Education / Experience
INVENTORY CONTROL MANAGER RESPONSIBILITES:  Ensure that the warehouse and all material handler personnel (throughout the site) are well trained in the proper material movement policies, SOPs, and procedures regarding physical and BAAN system movements of material  Support non-conforming, excess, and obsolete material processing to assure timely removal from production floor and all other material warehouse locations  Responsible for ensuring that the site cycle count program of material and assets are in line with the Corp policies and procedures  Maintain receiving, warehousing and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing program, operational and personnel policies and procedures  Responsible for ensuring that BAAN system material movement transactions are adhered to in full compliance with required policies and procedures  Function as the sites gate keeper to well ensure that all current and proposed site warehouse individual locations; add value, have necessary material movement controls, to include have high degree of inventory accuracy  Accountable to conduct and support other responsible key stakeholders in the root cause analysis and corrective actions of inventory discrepancies and material variances  Define and deploy appropriate key performance metrics to well ensure continual improvement is being driven for all areas of the operation  Comply with federal, state and local warehousing, site material handling and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions  Safeguard site material handling operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols  Define, assist in the development and implementation of constructive site proposed kanbans. Maintain physical condition and perpetual controls of all warehouse locations  Achieve financial objectives by supporting the site’s Supply Chain Director in the preparation an annual budget, quarterly forecast, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions  Provide the necessary site inventory control site leadership to appropriate indirect and direct labor personnel within the warehouse, production floor, 3Pl’s, and other areas.  Drive enhanced site inventory controls and lean material movement solutions to complex planning issues with limited supervision  Lead and or participate in the site continual improvement activities which improve material management key performance metrics, reduce material variances, ensure site material accuracy, and enhance material labor productivity. *5 plus years of experience working in mid complex EMS environment *10 progressive years working in Whse Supervision/Mgr position. *5-7 min yrs working in the whse as a whse Supervisor and Mgr. *5 plus years working as site Inventory Control Mgr position. *3 yrs min. working in site Inv Ctrl Mgr position.*4 Year degree related to Business, Engineering or Supply Chain degree from accredited Univ.
• Excellent knowledge of ERP systems (Subject matter expert)
