Job Summary
Precision Technologies, the MECHANICAL MANUFACTURING division of Benchmark Electronics, is looking for a career-minded Administrative Assistant I for our Fremont, CA. You'll have the opportunity to be an integral part of our aggressive growth strategy by working on a successful and fast-paced equipment manufacturing team. In this position you will compose and type routine letters, reports, and other materials. You will also maintain alphabetical, numerical, or subject filing systems; work on our scanning project, coordinate travel plans, assist with scheduling, and assist HR with ongoing projects.

Qualifications / Education / Experience

• Under close supervision, provides word processing; spread sheeting and other administrative support to various BEI staff.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Prepare spreadsheets.
• Collects and coordinates time records for department.
• Maintains filing system for department.
• Greets customers, vendors, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Coordinates travel arrangements.
• May train or mentor lower level administrators or clerical employees
• Works under general supervision and able to exercise independent judgment within prescribed parameters
• May assume additional projects as needed from conception through completion at the discretion of management. What would really impress us:

• High-school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
