Essential Functions and Competencies

Transactional Program Management Coordinate incoming RFQs with Sales, Engineering and Program Management Manage RFQ through delivery to customer Analyze customer purchase orders for compliance to customer’s contract terms and conditions Verify pricing and process customer POs and Sales Orders in accurate and timely manner Proactively identify potential discrepancies prior to data entry and engage Program Managers in resolving discrepancies Maintain documentation and database to support pricing quoted to customers Assist Program Managers with program accounts receivable past-due balances, providing data necessary for resolution Maintain a positive, professional relationship with coworkers Customer Focused Program Management Work with larger customers and more complex accounts Anticipate potential issues/problems with program(s), alert management and affect a satisfactory resolution Work with PM to ensure compliance to the project plan (schedule, resource and financial). Work with PM to keep project management tools updated on a weekly basis to aide in planning of company resources and to predict financial performance. Complete administrative project set-up and closure in Daptiv (project management tool), BAAN (enterprise resource planning tool) and Agile (product lifecycle management). Weekly Daptiv tasks for projects such as: quote status updates, task and resource loading, PO loading and invoicing. Format customer BOMs for buyers to quote and also clean up the BOMs (quantities, minimum buys, excess, etc.) for use in pricing model. Create BEI system BOMs by working with technical team. Coordinate document release and change process for design project team. Coordinate prototype or NPI box builds. Organize materials, track build status, assist with shipping documentation and coordination. Work with PM to generate proposed Statement of Work including project schedule, deliverables, and dependencies, soliciting input from others as necessary. Work with PM to prepare quotes. Work with PM to analyze program financial performance to meet company objectives. Gather status from team members, track project deliverables, and publish reports as needed.
Qualifications / Education / Experience
This position works closely with one or more Program Managers (PM) on Development Engineering projects and or existing production activities. The Technical Program Manager is responsible for a variety of tasks contributing to a project successfully meeting its cost, schedule and quality goals. These tasks include activities such as coordinating engineering builds, managing engineering BOMs, coordinating document release into Agile, and assisting with proposal generation. In addition the Technical Program Manager manages customers’ interface to achieve high customer satisfaction, profitable business relationships and sales growth with new and existing customers. Provides strong team leadership of the customers’ teams to ensure internal and external customers’ needs are met.

0-3+ years of experience in product or test design activity

4 year engineering or technical degree preferred. 4 year business degree or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management.
