HR contact: Tisha.Robbins@bench.com The Benefits and Wellness Manager partners with the Director of Total Rewards to design, deliver and maintain competitive benefit programs that attract, motivate and retain top talent. This position will create and disseminate key benefits messages that drive employee behaviors and ensure team members have the training and information to provide high-quality, front-line benefits support to local employees. The Benefits and Wellness Manager will also evaluate benefits processes and procedures to determine opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency.

Qualifications / Education / Experience

• Manages the company’s group employee benefits, retirement plans, and leave programs.
• Implements, plans and recommends strategies for the health and wellness plans which support short and long range business objectives.
• Supervises the administration of benefits to include maintenance of benefits records, monthly billing and budgeting.
• Designs and delivers benefits communication materials, strategies and project plans to enhance team member’s understanding of benefits offerings.
• Manage the annual open enrollment process to include renewals, cost analysis, communication and implementation. Coordinates and collaborates with key team members in the process.
• Implement and manage the wellness program by coordinating vendor selection, developing employee communication plans and establishing metrics for employee participation and engagement.
• Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with benefits broker and vendors to achieve maximum ROI from health and welfare dollars.
• Partner with benefit specialist to ensure timely, quality data entry and transfers to vendors for all corporate benefit plans.
• Maintain regulatory compliance of all corporate benefits plans, including HIPAA, ERISA, Sarbanes Oxley, and annual filings.
• Collaborate with payroll, finance and internal audit teams to manage internal and external audits.
• Establish/maintain a high performance team of professional, motivated and engaged staff utilizing effective training, performance management and career-development activities while leading them to achieve established business results and performance metrics.
• Other duties as assigned.
• 6+ years of experience in health and welfare plan administration with three years’ experience leading a team
• Basic knowledge of local, state and federal regulations as they apply to employment practices and benefits programs.
• Multi-national experience preferred.
• Certified Benefits Professionals (CBP) credential preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in business, Human Resources or related field
