Precision Technologies Tempe, a division of Benchmark Electronics, Inc. has an extensive capability in mechanical manufacturing. Our customers are leading Original Equipment Manufacturers who require exacting precision mechanical production capabilities. Our product lines include Aerospace, Healthcare, Scientific Instrumentation, and complex electro-mechanical equipment. We are seeking a motivated individual with CNC Programming experience. Our Capabilities Include:
•Precision CNC – up to 5-Axis Milling and Turning
•Precision 5-Axis Grinding of Aerospace Turbine Engine Nozzles and Blades
•Close Tolerance (Micron level) Instrumentation Grinding
•Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) NADCAP approved
•Complex Electro-Mechanical assembly and test (Class 1K & 10K clean room)
•Functional testing The CNC Programmer generates CNC Programs utilized in the manufacturing of small (3” cube) to large (60” cube) machined components on Turning Centers, 3, 4 and 5 axis Machining Centers and Grinders.

Essential Functions and Competencies

•The successful candidate will Utilize SolidWorks and MasterCam in providing accurate CNC Programs to factory floor within prescribed timeframe.
•Prescribe tooling, design fixtures, create setup sheets and work instructions as required.
•Effectively communicate, both verbally and written
•Handle multiple and changing priorities
•Respond to written and verbal instructions
•Participate in a continuous improvement activities. High speed machining experience on multiple pallet machines is required.
Qualifications / Education / Experience

•Able to program wide variety of CNC controls and equipment.
•Has experience in a variety of metal alloys including Aluminum, Alloy Steel, Stainless, Titanium and nickel alloys.
•Able to create and execute work instruction (MOT’s)
•Works with complex processes and high customer expectations.
•May offer recommendations for changes or improvements to the process based on experience and knowledge.
•Able to use independent judgment with minimum oversight by supervision as well as strong collaborative team member.
•Serves as a mentor to lesser skilled employees Works with supervision on duties and tasks, selecting from written instructions and established procedures.

8+ years experience in CNC programming and processing software. Ability to read, interpret and understand blueprints. Ability to write reports, document processes and procedures; 5+ years leadership/mentor experience leading others in machinist activities

2-year technical degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by Executive Management; Experience with Solidworks, Mastercam and Surfcam are desirable, as well as experience with 5-axis programming.
