Qualifications / Education / Experience
Plan organize, direct and provide the necessary resources for the manufacturing operations in the Division. Ensure that the cost, schedule and quality requirements of all production programs are achieved. Support engineering in the fabrication of engineering design models and prototype models.
• Oversee the production of products to all applicable specifications such as customer specifications, internal engineering and quality requirements
• Achieve all required specifications and standards by providing methods, product flow, and trained personnel
• Ensure the delivery of acceptable products to the customer
• Manage all sub-functional work within established budgets by ensuring that appropriate plans are in place, competent people are trained and available, and that systems are employed to effectively synergize all production activity
• Achieve production program cost budgets and ensure that profit objectives are achieved
• Drive and maintain production schedules in order to satisfy contract requirements, to ensure satisfied customers and to optimize resource usage; Employ all resources of operations such as manpower, facilities, equipment, services and material in order to achieve production schedules
• Manage production group expense budgets to ensure that overhead rate objectives are achieved
• Control indirect labor, indirect labor by direct labor, and overhead expenses within planned levels compatible with the planned (or actual) direct cost activity
• Ensure that all products are reliably tested and verified to the applicable customer requirements and specifications design guidelines for manufacturability
• Provide appropriate manufacturing capabilities at the lowest possible factory costs to maximize profit and to ensure an on-going competitive cost position
• Ensure that all necessary manufacturing support is provided to engineering development and design projects
• Provide manufacturing assembly and test support, and the hands-on labor for all applicable engineering design models and prototype models

8+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing; 8+ years in a leadership role

4 year Engineering or technical degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
