Director of Solutions Finance is responsible for overseeing the financial management for the Solutions Business area of the company. This position will serve as a key business partner and consultant to the CTO, CFO, and senior executives to establish strategic and financial goals for the Solutions Business area of Benchmark, to meet business objectives, and legal, and regulatory responsibilities.

Essential Functions and Competencies

• Understanding of business and financial considerations for engineering services, and manufacturing is required.

Qualifications / Education / Experience

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization’s fiscal function and performance.
• Evaluate and advise in the development of the Solutions Business area’s financial plans, policies, and strategies.
• Direct the development of standardized analytics and benchmarks for the Solutions Business area.
• Develop credibility for the finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends in order to assist the CTO in performing their responsibilities.
• Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to other functional management.
• Participate in continual improvement of the budgeting process through education of department managers on financial issues impacting their budgets.
• Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization; i.e., evaluation of potential alliances acquisitions and/or mergers and pension funds and investments.
• Be an advisor from the financial perspective on any contracts into which the corporation may enter.
• Evaluate the finance division structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group and provide individuals with professional and personal growth.
• Assist with reviewing and evaluating key operational and financial data with manufacturing site leadership and, when appropriate, helping to drive root cause analyses and development of corrective action plans to address under performance.
• Collaborate with site leadership to support business development initiatives (e.g. product launches, inventory management, entrance to new markets, etc.) through strategic analysis, investment optimization analytics, valuation, and financial due diligence Previous significant Finance/Accounting senior leadership experience in a global, multi-national, publicly traded corporation.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field required; Master’s Degree preferred
