Job Summary
Precision Technologies, a division of Benchmark Electronics, Inc. Our Precision Technologies Division has extensive capability in mechanical manufacturing. Our customers are leading Original Equipment Manufacturers who require exacting precision mechanical production capabilities. Our product lines include Aerospace, Defense, Medical & Instrumentation and complex electro-mechanical equipment. Our capabilities include:
•Precision CNC 5-Axis milling and turning
•Precision 5-Axis grinding of aerospace turbine engine nozzles and blades
•Close tolerance instrumentation grinding
•Electrical discharge machining
•Complex electro-mechanical assembly and test (Class 1K & 10K clean room)

Qualifications / Education / Experience

•Provides direct guidance for all activities within purview.
•Responsible for the business operations of the units, including product development, manufacturing, program management, materials, human resources, engineering, marketing, sales, financial planning and control and business development.
•Provides the vision and leadership for applying the most advanced principals and concepts of total quality management, continuous improvement and world class manufacturing.
•Operates within strategic plans developed by Corporate headquarters with respect to capital investment, financial policy and personnel requirements.
•Initiates actions and programs which will continuously improve quality and production.
•Develops key performance metrics, tracks performance and drives the organization in the achievement of goals and objectives.
•Participates in the analysis and recommendation of new business development consistent with the organization’s capabilities and plans.
•Insures that the Corporation is aware of industry changes in terms of new manufacturing programs and notable achievements that could influence the strategic direction of the company.
•Establishes and oversees the operating budgets that have been approved.
•Develops long and short term Division goals.
•Participates in new business opportunities and ensures that the quality requirements of such opportunities are accurately accessed from both a business perspective and from an impact standpoint on the existing quality system

•8+ years mechanical manufacturing experience or equivalent combination; contract manufacturing preferred
•8+ years in a leadership role, with a strong technical background
•Scalable leadership skills to grow the business with limited guidance
•Strong Financial acumen to support growth of revenue and profit
•Strategic perspective to identify long game with existing customers and strategic opportunities to add capabilities for technical differentiation and superior margins
•Customer Presence and experience a must

•4 year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management
