Job Summary
Seeking a Global Program Manager to support customers in the San Jose, CA. area. This new hire will work from our San Jose CA facility while spending 2-3 days per week within a customer facility in the San Jose area. The Global Program Manager is the relationship lead with Benchmark’s largest customers. The position is critical for the growth of our key customer relationships. Further, through driving continuous improvement activities, it is expected that the Global Program Manager will differentiate Benchmark from our competition with our existing customers, ensuring a long-term relationship. The Global Program Manager must be able to communicate both internally and externally at all levels of an organization, including engineering, C-Suite, supply chain, and all other functions within organizations. The Global Program Manager requires strong leadership and must be able to manage multiple projects and actions items in parallel. The successful Global Program Manager will continually improve financial metrics, will ensure expectations are aligned with customer goals and will execute to those expectations, and will manage mutually successful customer relationships, long-term.

Qualifications / Education / Experience

• Leads creation and execution of customer strategies on a global basis
• Manages customer satisfaction levels for each point of contact on a real-time basis
• Ensures alignment of defined strategies between all Benchmark manufacturing sites
• Monitors key milestones, ensuring adherence to identified timelines and deliverables of key objectives for specific activities
• Ensures commonality between each of the manufacturing sites
• Ensures customer escalations are resolved in a timely manner using all resources available within Benchmark
• Manages customer relationships on a Global basis
• Acts as the single point of customer contact, globally, for all product programs and operational performance issues
• Facilitates internal communication between all Benchmark vertical partners
• Facilitates external communication between customer and Benchmark sites
• Ensures Customer’s expectations are clearly communicated and are being met
• Acts as the leader and sponsor for global customer new product introductions and has sign off responsibility at phase gate reviews
• Establishes global customer business reviews on a quarterly basis
• Provides input into customer contract negotiation and ensures contract requirements are adhered to by both operations and customer
• Identifies additional opportunities to grow revenue or services with the customer
• Ensures cost reduction plans are in place to meet customer targets
• Conducts operational reviews to ensure customer requirements are at the required levels
• Leads operational and manufacturing strategies to support customer business strategies
• Establishes key performance indicators to maximize profit, reduce liability, and maximize customer satisfaction
• Facilitates solutions for company and the customer

• 8-10 years relevant program management experience
• Minimum of 3-5 years EMS experience, preferred

• Business or engineering degree with MBA preferred
