Essential Functions and Competencies


• Reduce excess and obsolete inventory; Work with material coordinators to pull material for Return to Vendor (RTV) or scrap
• Coordinate material returns with Purchasing and Program Management
• Work with specialized reporting in conjunction with IT
• Look for inefficiencies for reporting Excess/Obsolete (E/O) inventory; Implement changes as approved by senior Inventory Analysts or management
• Identify specific E/O inventory issues and recommends effective dispositioning
• Provide information collected from analysis and E/O reports
• Participate in selecting areas for analysis
• Recognize inefficiencies and enhance the current process for reporting Excess/Obsolete (E/O) inventory; Recommend improvements and implements as approved
• Develop specialized reporting in conjunction with IT
• Identify specific E/O inventory issues and communicate effective dispositioning to management
• Provide information collected from analysis and E/O reports with recommendations based on analytical summaries
• Select areas for analysis
• Train lower level co-workers
• All employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds Customer Satisfaction.
Qualifications / Education / Experience
Reviews, reports on and reduces excess and obsolete inventory. May recommend or take corrective actions as appropriate and as required.


• 4+ years of experience in scheduling/inventory management with more complex and larger accounts Ability to lead and mentor others in complex materials management task
• Ability to work with a train diverse groups

4 year degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management;
