Job Summary
Local Candiates Only. Must be knowledgable about California Labor Laws. Precision Technologies, a division of Benchmark Electronics, Inc. Precision Technologies Concord has an extensive capability in mechanical manufacturing. Our customers are leading Original Equipment Manufacturers who require exacting precision mechanical production capabilities. Our product lines include the, Aerospace, Healthcare Scientific Instrumentation, and complex electro-mechanical equipment. Our Capabilities Include:
• Precision CNC 5-Axis Milling and Turning
• Precision 5-Axis Grinding of Aerospace Turbine Engine Nozzles and Blades
• Close Tolerance (Micron level) Instrumentation Grinding
• Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) NADCAP approved
• Complex Electro-Mechanical assembly and test (Class 1K & 10K clean room)
• Functional testing
• Medium to Large Coordinate Measuring Capabilities Responsible for leading the employee relations and recruiting duties and ensuring that the Division maintains compliance with company policies and procedures and federal and state regulations regarding employment. At some sites may also have responsibility for the Payroll function.


Essential Functions and Competencies


•Handle employee counseling and provide suggestions and recommendations for handling co-worker conflict.
•Assist in the training and monitoring of the training for co-workers, including interviewing, handbook review and harassment.
•Perform routine plant tours and conduct various audits, including computer use, attendance and HR records.
•Develop responses to unemployment or other legal issues, attend hearings, etc.; Work with in-house counsel on legal matters.
•Present HR information at all co-worker meetings or other meetings.
•Interview, recruit, offer positions to applicants and set up new co-workers; May use an outside recruiter, ads, or the internet to assist in recruiting.
•Recommend and select new hires, as well as recommend and perform disciplinary action, up to and including terminations.
•Assist with other HR functions as needed. Qualifications
•Administer various human resources plans and procedures for division co-workers; assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures, prepare and maintain co-worker handbook.
•Supervise and lead recruiting and employee relations efforts. Ensure compliance, fairness and consistency.
•Manage HR Administrators and Generalists.
•Develop department goals, objectives, systems and process improvements.
•Act as a resource to leaders and managers regarding co-worker issues.
•Act as a resource to all co-workers
Qualifications / Education / Experience
Job Details Leads the employee relations and recruiting duties and ensures that Benchmark maintains compliance with company policies and procedures and federal and state regulations regarding employment.
• 6+ years working experience in Human Resources (3+ years in a leadership role)
•4 year degree in Human Resources or related degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management
