Job Summary: The Focus Factory Manager is responsible for overall operational leadership, tactical execution and financial performance of the assigned Focus Factory. Direct responsibility for providing the vision to develop and execute the following: continuous improvement initiatives, operational planning, product quality assurance, staff management/development, customer satisfaction and effective communication both within the focus factory, customer focus team, and site leadership.

Essential Functions and Competencies

Qualifications / Education / Experience

•Direct responsibility for representing the focus factory in the development of the quarterly forecast reviews held on a periodic basis.
•Works closely with Planner and Scheduler in the robust development of production schedules based on committed financial forecasts, customer commitments and validated by load/capacity analysis.
•Based on financial/customer commitments execute focus factory resource reviews to assure sufficient human and equipment resources exist to meet customer and site business objectives.
•Assure that product and process quality are compliant to internal, industry and customer quality standards
•Lead, mentor, coach and participate in the achievement of the operational goals and objectives to include financial key metrics required and aligned to the Enterprise, Site, Customer focus team and customer.
•Provide input and participate in customer meetings, visits and quarterly business reviews as required.
•Report on focus factory performance to customer focus team, site leadership, and site leadership regarding operational key performance metrics to include financial and customer commitments.
•Conducts focus factory level communications as necessary to provide the tactical direction and drive achievement of quality, delivery, productivity and financial performance goals/objectives.
•Provide the direction and leadership to develop, promote, and participate in the sites lean six sigma continual improvement culture within the focus factory to include those LSS initiatives championed by enabling support groups egg. Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain, etc.
•Provide relative inputs into; Customer QBR’s, and meetings, CFT and site P&L, operational reviews, customer quotes, etc.

•5+ years of electronics manufacturing experience; Contract manufacturing preferred
•3+ years of leadership role experience
•Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
•Ability to effectively mentor employees at all levels
•Understanding of and ability to use continuous improvement tools
•Ability to drive solutions to complex planning issues with limited supervision
•Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation, as required
•Effective analytical, planning, and organizational skills
•Effective interpersonal skills with employees and customers
•Effective negotiation and problem solving skills
•Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment and professionalism when representing the company
•Demonstrate leadership and people management skills
•Demonstrate teamwork and the ability to operate on diverse project teams with minimal direction
•Solid financial understanding, risk analysis ability, relationship-building, and project management
•Lead, or at least participate in, a continuous improvement activity with complete documentation including a follow up review with the team in a presentation format
•Available for travel up to 25-40% of the time, as required

•4 year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management
