Our customers are leading Original Equipment Manufacturers and our product lines include Aerospace, Healthcare Scientific Instrumentation, and complex electro-mechanical equipment. Our Capabilities Include:
• Precision CNC 5-Axis Milling and Turning
• Precision 5-Axis Grinding of Aerospace Turbine Engine Nozzles and Blades
• Close Tolerance (Micron level) Instrumentation Grinding
• Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) NADCAP approved
• Complex Electro-Mechanical assembly and test (Class 1K & 10K clean room)
• Functional testing
• Medium to Large Coordinate Measuring Capabilities Precision Technologies Division in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for its Aerospace Turbine component manufacturing plant. This position requires the drive, integrity, knowledge, education, determination, experience, and ability to help us with sustaining and growing our business. The Manufacturing Engineer will provide the technical manufacturing liaison required for the production of high quality products through all phases of production between the Program, Procurement, Assembly, and Quality Departments to promote an efficient and well-organized manufacturing operation. Experience with machining, EDM and 5axis grinding of aerospace blades and vanes are highly desirable.

•Demonstrates the ability to solve and document moderately complex cross departmental issues using structured problem solving tools.
•Demonstrates engineering level understanding mechanical components and systems depending upon education and related experience background
•Able to travel up to 20% of time including day, overnight or international travel as required.
Qualifications / Education / Experience

•Chair cross-functional NPI reviews to ensure the product design lends itself to practical, economical manufacturing techniques.
•Review customer engineering design drawings for compatibility with “state-of-the-art” manufacturing processes.
•Coordinates with the Methods and Tooling groups and provides the technical product or specification drawing interpretations required for the design and fabrication of tools, fixtures, and process methods instructions.
•Define Statistical Process Control Key features, monitor CPk and perform necessary process improvement.
•Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities and takes an active role in the dispositioning of discrepant components and assemblies.
•Participate and have input in manufacturing and machine tool cell layouts to promote an efficient flow of product through the various manufacturing processes.
•Serves as mentor to lower level engineers.

3+ years manufacturing engineering experience with strong technical and project management experience.

4 year engineering or technical degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
