Qualifications / Education / Experience
Provides the technical manufacturing knowledge required for the production of high quality products from the design phase through all phases of production, i.e. Program Design, Procurement, Assembly and Quality Departments. Promotes an efficient and well-organized manufacturing operation.

Review/oversee engineering design drawings prior to “Production Release” for product producibility and compatibility with “state-of-the-art” manufacturing techniques Assume a lead technical role in make/buy evaluations and make recommendations on “IN-HOUSE” VS. “OUTSIDE VENDOR” manufacturing capabilities Monitor day to day production activities for complex product builds and make recommendations on material and/or labor reductions to promote efficiency of operation Support a wide variety type or group of complex equipment, specifying, implementing and enhancing performance Serve as mentor to lower level engineers

• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience with strong technical and project management experience
• Demonstrate the ability to solve and document moderately complex cross-departmental issues using structure problem solving tools
• Possess good written and oral communication and presentation skills for internal and external customers
• Demonstrate engineering level understanding of electronic components, circuits and systems of mechanical components and systems, depending upon education and related experience and background
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, including day or overnight travel as required Level III
• 4 year Engineering or technical degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management
• 8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience with highly complex technical projects
• 5+ years of experience leading technical projects and cross-functional strategic initiatives
• 3+ years in a leadership role and is considered an engineering expert
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, including day, overnight or internationally, as required

4 year Engineering or technical degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management
