• Precision CNC 5-Axis Milling and Turning
• Precision 5-Axis Grinding of Aerospace Turbine Engine Nozzles and Blades
• Close Tolerance (Micron level) Instrumentation Grinding
• Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) NADCAP approved
• Complex Electro-Mechanical assembly and test (Class 1K & 10K clean room) Provide and support manufacturing equipment, materials and processes to production to ensure products are assembled in an efficient manner, meeting customer quality and expectations and on-time delivery specifications.

Qualifications / Education / Experience

• Maintain machine programs and profiles for new and existing product
• Aids the Product group in maintaining product routings, maintaining drawing packets, performing ongoing maintenance, and interpreting instructions/specifications for the floor
• Assists in process training on processes/products for Production and Support groups
• Maintains process instructions as assigned
• Aids group in coordination product facility moves as needed
• Assists Support Engineering in production startups on the floor
• Aids in maintenance of product standard routing times
• Participates as a proactive member of a Continuous Process Improvement Team, reviewing all necessary data and recommend proactive improvements on an ongoing basis
• Participates in monthly reporting analysis and data collection
• Coordinates schedules for new production equipment
• Coordinates the testing and qualification for new equipment, materials, and processes
• Assists in the training for new manufacturing equipment, materials, and processes as required
• Maintains the capital equipment & process capabilities list as required
• Helps with the disposition of used capital equipment as required
• Stays abreast of equipment, material, and process trends in the electronic manufacturing industry
• Assists with coordinating the installation of hardware and software updates as required
• Works with all areas as required on understanding and improving recurring manufacturing & equipment issues
• Drives corrective actions according to applicable process instructions to improve assembly quality and throughput.
• Monitors work cell performance by reviewing the accuracy of routing standard times to actual times, process yield (PFS), utilization and downtime

• Initiates Corrective Actions Plans, Process Change Orders, shutdown/restarts and follows through to completion
• Initiates and performs mechanical and electronics repairs on needed equipment
• Identifies work center layout issues to floor layout team
• Orders, coordinates and develops schedules for new production equipment
• Coordinates training for new manufacturing equipment, materials, and processes as required
• Proposes ideas for custom tooling for overall process & equipment improvement
• Maintains contact with equipment suppliers for hardware and software updates.
• Coordinates the installation of hardware and software updates as required
• Improves quality and throughput of all assemblies in assigned area
• Monitors work cell performance by reviewing the accuracy of routing standard times to actual times, process yield (PFS), utilization and downtime
• Initiates and performs mechanical and electronics repairs on needed equipment
• Creates and maintains all machine programs and profiles for new and existing product
• Maintains product routings, create drawing packets and perform ongoing maintenance, and interpret instructions/specifications for manufacturing
• Develops and coordinates process training on processes/products for manufacturing groups. Drives training through all affected groups
• Creates and continuously reviews process instructions. Initiates and drives improvements
• Coordinates and drives product facility moves
• Monitors processes for product Design For Manufacturability (DFM) issues and drives feedback through appropriate channels
• Drives product startups on the floor
• Monitors startup processes, making recommendations for improvement
• Develops and maintains product standard routing times
• Develops and drives new process capabilities with the Technology Engineering group
• Leads a Continuous Process Improvement Team, reviewing all necessary data and implement proactive improvements on an ongoing basis. Coordinates cost effective analysis requirements for improvements and presents ideas for approval
• Monitors and reports Process team improvements to management on a monthly basis
• Sets up and maintains the process for Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
• Drives corrective actions according to applicable process instructions to improve assembly quality and throughput
• Determines essential wear items and creates proper buffer stock in inventory

5+ years experience in electronic diagnosis experience; 8+ years process and equipment improvements and qualifications experience; considered technical technician expert level

2 year technical degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management;
