•Precision CNC 5-Axis Milling and Turning
•Precision 5-Axis Grinding of Aerospace Turbine Engine Nozzles and Blades
•Close Tolerance (Micron level) Instrumentation Grinding
•Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) NADCAP approved
•Complex Electro-Mechanical assembly and test (Class 1K & 10K clean room)
•Functional testing
•Medium to Large Coordinate Measuring Capabilities
•The precision inspector verifies quality and approves the release of manufactured parts or assembly based on customer requirements and specifications. JOB SUMMARY Performs assigned inspection duties to assure compliance with requirements. Performs expeditious and accurate product requirements verification at incoming inspection, production operation and final inspection as well as supports Document Control activities. We have both a day shift and evening shift available.


Essential Functions and Competencies

Machine shop inspection and blue print reading experience preferred Experience using inspection hand tools, such as mics, indicators, height gages, thread gages, plug gages, optical comparator, Inspection / layout of precision machined parts using surface plate. Familiar and comfortable with Microsoft Office programs including Word and excel with basic computer skills. Strong work ethic and organizational skills to meet demands of fast-paced work environment. Ability to make sound decisions based on solid reasoning regarding acceptance/rejection of material. Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
Qualifications / Education / Experience
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Performs primarily in-process inspection, final inspection and receiving inspection to assure product compliance with quality assurance standards. Must be familiar with GD&T, inspection hand tools, such as mics, indicators, height gages, thread gages, plug gages, optical comparator, Inspection / layout of precision machined parts using surface plate. Reads and interprets blueprints, CMM data review, engineering change orders, assembly and inspection instructions. Identify non-conformances based on inspection to customer requirements. Effectively communicate, both verbally and written. Handle multiple and changing priorities. Obtain and renew certifications on assigned equipment and be willing to cross-train in other areas. Participate in a continuous improvement activities. Keep inspection areas clean and safe operation in accordance with site lean requirements. Performs audits of specific areas, processes and procedure. Maintains records of rejected/accepted material, maintains databases for analysis of nonconformities. Work closely and communicate effectively with the Production to achieve product quality and production goals. Perform daily in-process, first article AS9102 and final inspection of precision machined parts. Ability to work overtime as needed.
•AS9100: 5 years (Preferred)
•Quality Assurance Inspector: 2-3 years
•Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing: 3 years High School Diploma or GED required
