We are looking for a Production Inspector with at least 3+ years of advanced electronics inspection experience. This opportunity is located at our Angleton, Texas location. Angleton is located about 40 miles South of Houston, Texas.

Our Production Inspector verifies processes and manufacturing instructions to produce quality product that meets customers’ requirements. Performs data collection, analysis, data verification and charts




Essential Functions and Competencies

  • Complete the Quality section of the Manufacturing Readiness Review
  • Implement Quality Management Plans
  • Monitor process control limits
  • Assist product engineers in the maintenance of inspection procedures, audits and stock/floor purges
  • Assist with operations on process improvements and process optimization
  • Assist Engineering in the generation of weekly and monthly inspection and test reports for Business Units
  • Review inspection and test reports for areas of process improvement
  • Communicate quality data to employees and management
  • All employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds Customer Satisfaction.
  • Maintain Process Feedback (PFS) data and tables and provide ongoing support to all PFS users
  • Analyze data and resolve discrepancies
  • Complete test yield charts, Defects Per Unit (DPU) charts, etc. in support of quality engineers
  • Provide ongoing Quality System administrative support in the training area, on-line documentation and internal audit program
  • Maintain critical item lists in support of Quality Engineers
  • Develop and maintain Opportunities for Error (OFE) for all assemblies
  • Provide Parts per Million (PPM) reporting and analysis for all products
  • Assist with ECO sign-off
  • Performs First Article Inspection on product
  • Reviews First Article Inspection Documentation for completeness
  • Reviews Drawings, Specifications and prepares Inspection parameters
  • Performs Out of Box Audits

  • Accepting of opportunities to train on new equipment and to cross-train into other site operations, as needed
  • Participate in a continuous improvement activity


High School Diploma or GED; 3+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing; 3+ years of advanced electronics inspection (i.e. AOI) ; 2 year Engineering or Technical Degree Preferred, ASQ Certification preferred.
