Benchmark Electronics, is looking for a career-minded Program Coordinator for our Austin, Texas location.


Essential Functions and Competencies

You’ll have the opportunity to be a central part in our aggressive growth strategy by supporting the Sales and Program Management departments. You’ll play a key role by driving processes for Engineering Change Orders, Sales Orders and Accounts Receivables. You’ll also support the planning and scheduling departments using Baan, ensuring sales order accuracy and drive accurate MRP.This position will also be responsible for import/export function.


Qualifications / Education / Experience
  • Analyzes customer purchase orders for compliance to customer’s contract terms and conditions.
  • Verifies pricing and processes customer POs and Sales Orders in accurate and timely manner.
  • Maintains documentation and database to support pricing quoted to customers.
  • Provides daily reports to Master Scheduler using Baan to support production scheduling.
  • Begins to understand the total business operation to include material procurement, order entry, forecasting, manufacturing, invoicing, customer returns, inventory levels and on-time delivery.
  • Demonstrates discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism when representing the company.
  • Able to work overtime as needed.
  • Data entry of New Orders from customer into ERP. Including review and verification of critical Data.
  • Provide data analysis for logistics planning, freight cost and import/export data
  • Report import/export costs
  • Interact with SCA to support incoming and outgoing product needs and documentation
  • Audit freight bills (both domestic and international) utilizing copies of carrier contracts
  • Audit shipping documents to include import/export documentation for accuracy and maintain for record keeping compliance
  • Maintain parts master with country of origin, classifications
  • Monitor the use of the BEI routing guide
  • Capture Data to assist in reviewing carrier performance on a quarterly basis
  • Track any shipments and provide updates to team on critical issues
  • File any import and export forms including SEDs with carriers or government agencies to support product being shipped
  • Maintain corporate spreadsheet to track import/export shipments and documentation

What we need from you:
•High School Diploma or GED
• 2 or more years’ experience in administration in a manufacturing or similar environment Understanding of intricacies of international shipping laws and requirements preferred;Local Candidates Only
