Job Summary
Quality Technician I with our Manufacturing Engineering Team.

Location: Rochester, MN

The Quality Technician verifies processes and manufacturing instructions to produce quality product that meets customer requirements. Performs data collection, analysis, data verification and charts and graph preparation.





Essential Functions and Competencies

  • Complete the Quality section of the Manufacturing Readiness Review.
  • Implement Quality Management Plans.
  • Monitor process control limits.
  • Assist product engineers in the maintenance of inspection procedures, audits and stock/floor purges.
  • Assist with operations on process improvements and process optimization.
  • Assist Engineering in the generation of weekly and monthly inspection and test reports for Business Units.
  • Review inspection and test reports for areas of process improvement.
  • May PM equipment and process/equipment troubleshooting.
  • Communicate quality data to employees and management.
  • All employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds Customer Satisfaction.

  • Accepting of opportunities to train on new equipment and to cross-train into other site operations, as needed.
  • Participate in a continuous improvement activity.

    0-3+ years of electronics experience

    2 year Engineering or Technical degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management
