Job Summary
The Quality Systems Technician responsible for document control ensures the systems and procedures are being properly controlled to ensure the highest level of Quality in the product builds and manufacturing operations. Verifies and confirms Quality Systems divisional compliance with internal and external requirements. Performs audits of certification related documentation, ensuring compliance to all quality management standards, governmental rules, regulations and requirements for the contract manufacturing of products. Fosters divisional teamwork within a continuous improvement environment.

Essential Functions and Competencies

•Demonstrate high attention to detail.
•Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
•Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality and professionalism when representing.
•Working knowledge of required applicable certifications, specifically AS9100, ISO9001, ISO13485 and ISO14000.
•Ability to work with and train diverse groups and organizational levels.
•Participate in a continuous improvement activity.
•Experience with Microsoft office suite.
Qualifications / Education / Experience

•Training administrator for Tempe sites.
•Administrate the site corrective action tracking system, reporting activity, trends and past due performance information.
•Responsible for document control coordination.
•Conducts process compliance and quality management system internal audits per schedule and defined procedures using audit checklists and other documentation tools (standards).
•Assists with, and coordinates external quality systems audits and customer audits as required.
•Works with the functional areas to improve process performance and compliance as assigned.
•Participates in problem solving activities.
•Assists quality engineers with completion of First Article Inspections.
•Work with cross functional teams to implement quality management system improvements.
•Provide an open conduit for co-workers to bring forward issues, concerns and suggestions related to the quality system and conformance to quality system requirements.
•Assist with the development, improvement and implementation of quality system policy and procedures compliant with required standards, either current or future.
•Monitor and report on key quality and performance indicators as related to quality system conformance and related audits.
•Champion selected continuous improvement activities.
•Participates and contributes to quality systems departmental management meetings and goal accomplishment. Three to Five years experience working with quality systems, preferably in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.High school diploma required. Additional education and certifications preferred.
