Summary Senior System Administrator (VMware/Microsoft) Ability to design and architect Active Directory environments and solutions based on industry standards and best practices. Documentation skills to include system diagramming and the development of operational support guidelines / reference material Must be able to communicate with all different levels of an enterprise organization.


Essential Functions and Competencies

5 plus years of hands on experience in installation and operation of VMWare and Cisco UCS 5 plus years of experience in a Microsoft Back office environment.
•Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems (2003/2008/2012)
•Microsoft Exchange Server (2003/2007/2010) 5 plus years of experience with Microsoft Active Directory environments, to include the following underlying infrastructure components:
•Active Directory
•Organizational Units
•Domain Name Services (DNS)
•Windows Internet Name Services (WINS)
•WDS and WSUS
•Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)
•Domain Trust Relationships
•Group Policy Object (GPO) Management
•VMWare Certified Professional (VCP)
Qualifications / Education / Experience

•Production and strong technical understanding of and experience with the latest Microsoft Windows Server technologies including, Active Directory, Clustering, Exchange, SQL Server, and related services (e.g. DFS, DHCP, and DNS).
•Installation, configuration, troubleshooting and support of the VMware including ESX, View, vCenter, vcOPS, Hyper-V, SRM and other hypervisor technologies.
•Configuration, troubleshooting, and support of Cisco UCS server equipment a must.
•Responsible for configuring and maintaining server and application monitoring.
•On-call rotation coverage
•Manage and maintain datacenter environment maintenance
•Quarterly system patching
•Thorough understanding of TCP/IP operation in a distributed, client/server environment, ideally including iSCSI and FCOE.
•Backup operation, disaster recovery planning and procedures.
•Ability to develop and document repeatable standardized procedures for the administration and maintenance of firm computing resources
•Must have experience performing and troubleshooting physical to virtual server migrations.
•Powershell Scripting within Exchange and Office 365
•Other duties as assigned

Cisco Data Center Unified Computing Certification Cisco Data Center Unified Computing Certification VMWare Certified Professional (VCP), minimum version 5.1
• Current MCSE Certification

Bachelor's degree with course work in computer science, or equivalent work experience.
