Partners with HR Department in recruitment, employee relations, policies and procedures, obtaining work authorizations, and benefits administration. Will research, develop and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.

• Facilitates staff meetings with HR Business partner and other management team members on a consistent basis
• Make recommendations that will better facilitate the recruitment process.
• Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
• Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process
• Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
• Plans, attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
• Source and refer eligible candidates to the Hiring Manager and manage the interview and hiring process.
• Lead the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
• Develop collaborative working relationships with recruitment agencies and representatives to ensure adequate coverage of personnel needs.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
• Create and or maintain databases and spreadsheets to measure the success of recruitment.
• Liaison with Corporate HR
• Implement approved changes or recommendations that will better facilitate the recruitment process.
• Assist with annual Talent Acquisition annual budget planning
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Other information:
• 6+ years of specialized recruitment and/or staffing experience preferred.
• SHRM-PHR or SHRM-SPHR preferred.
• 3-5 years of specialized recruitment and/or staffing experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and client focus
• Strong interviewing techniques and methods.
• Demonstrated knowledge of networking and retention principles and practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Effective interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
• Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
• Effective multitasking skills and the ability to take on additional responsibilities as required
• Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated high attention to detail
• Ability to work with diverse groups
• Demonstrates discretion, confidentiality, independent judgement and professionalism
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance, exercising discretion and independent judgement
• Understanding and ability to use continuous improvement tools
• Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
• Working knowledge of productivity tools, including Microsoft Office products and WebEx conferencing software.
• Knowledge of Social Media sites (LinkedIn, etc.)


Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or related field preferred, or combination of education and experience as approved by executive management.
