Job Summary
Precision Technologies, the MECHANICAL MANUFACTURING division of Benchmark Electronics, is looking for a career-minded CNC MANUFACTURING SUPERVISOR for our Concord, CA location. Our client list reads like a “Who’s Who” of Original Equipment Manufacturers requiring precision mechanical production capabilities including close-tolerance machining and electromechanical clean room assembly. Our product lines include equipment for the Semiconductor, and Scientific Instrumentation markets.

Qualifications / Education / Experience

• Analyzes production schedule and assigns jobs to line workers needed to meet delivery dates.
• Plans work assignments for group on basis of priority and worker skills.
• Assigns duties to workers and evaluates worker performance.
• Implements company policies and procedures.
• Examines product according to knowledge of manufacturing and quality standards to ensure acceptability.
• Reviews and compiles operations records such as yield, scrap, and maintenance costs.
• Reviews work orders, product specifications, technical instructions and facility requirements, requisition tools, equipment and supplies for section.
• Enters and verifies employees work time into system.
• Adapts easily to changing programs; flexible to do tasks assigned.
• Able to perform all the essential functions and competencies listed above.
• Participates and/or leads Customer Support and Quality Improvement teams in order to continually improve product quality, improve thru put, and reduce downtime.
• Acts as a backup for the Production Manager as needed.

• Experience in a High Mix/Low Volume (Mixed Model) Shop

What we need from you:
• 4-year technical degree or equivalent combination of skills and experience
• 3 years’ experience in electronics manufacturing
• 2 years in a leadership role
• Ability to work Friday - Sunday, 5am-5:30pm weekly
