We believe that we have developed strengths in the manufacturing process for large, complex, high-density printed circuit boards as well as the ability to manufacture high and low volume products in regions such as China, Malaysia, Mexico, Romania and Thailand. Our Moorpark, CA location is looking for a Supervisor, Supply Chain. This individual will lead the supply chain activity within the business unit, ensuring planning processes are in place to support department, business unit and divisional goals, as well as ensuring customer needs are met.

Qualifications / Education / Experience

• Monitor and report on revenue and inventory plan; Identify issues and recommend solutions and/or take action, as appropriate, for assigned business units
• Monitor capacity planning requirements and recommend solutions and/or take action, as appropriate
• Develop planning analysis and assessment tools, as required
• Monitor and report on inventory levels and planned order quantities at both the component and assembly level; Generate action plans to ensure that inventory levels are optimized and excess inventory is dispositioned to support business objectives
• Interface with customers, suppliers and internal resources to optimize inventory/revenue plan
• Assist the Supply Chain Manager, as needed, regarding development of advanced Planning processes
• Assist the Supply Chain Analyst in developing monthly sales forecasts; Update the forecast for assigned areas of responsibility based on the supply chain process
• Work directly with customers to gain an understanding of a customer’s planning system and how Benchmark and the customer’s processes interact
• Recommend improvements and implement recommendations for improvements to the extended supply chain process in order to gain efficiencies in both Benchmark’s processes and the customer’s processes
• Assist other team members, as needed, to ensure customer needs are met
• Support and assist in daily supply chain activities/responsibilities/tasks
• Coordinate analysis, gather supply chain best practices and develop strategies in support of supply chain business case development
• Ensure that processes are effectively established, followed, monitored and optimized
• All employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds Customer Satisfaction.
• Experience in commodity purchasing/planning/program management; 1+ years in a some type of leadership role
• Understanding of the extended process of material procurement, capacity planning, inventory analysis and advanced planning techniques (demand flow scheduling, vendor managed inventory, etc.)
• Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools (MAPICS, Baan or equivalent)
• Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats
• Effective analytical, planning and organizational skills
• Solid financial understanding, risk analysis ability, relationship building and project management
• Effective interpersonal skills with employees and customers
• Ability to demonstrate discretion and independent judgment when representing the company in supply chain decisions
• Demonstrate leadership and people management skills
• Ability to effectively mentor coworkers
• Ability to drive solutions to complex planning issues with limited supervision
• Lead, or at least participate in, a continuous improvement activity with complete documentation, including a follow up review with the team in a presentation format
• 4 year degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management Other Requirement:
