The Senior Manager, Learning and Development is responsible for leading operational effectiveness through the learning and development assigned to leadership and staff. Partners with leaders to assess training and development needs and creates solutions to improve business performance and individual/leadership skills.

• Works with business clients to formulate development and training programs based on knowledge of identified training needs, company business processes, business systems or changes in procedures or services
• Oversees and designs curriculum and associated tools to support and improve organizational capability; routinely measures and improves deliverables; develop and curate content to be used online, in person and through virtual interactions
• Leads development and configuration of the goals, performance management and learning management modules of the company’s human resources information system (Infor Cloud-Suite HCM)
• Manages the company’s global compliance training program, including vendor management, development of multi-year course roadmap and quarterly course assignments
• Supports the organization with managing change and communication regarding new and evolving key initiatives
• Assures quality of training from design to delivery to post-delivery by optimizing the return for investment in development and training and maximize the return on expectations (ROE) through behavioral change
• Plans, conducts (as needed) and coordinates development and training programs; leads projects and planning design to drive organizational effectiveness
• Leads collaborative processes which gather input from key stakeholders in order to prioritize ongoing training needs; collaborates with other functional trainers to develop trainer capacity across the organization
• Conducts needs assessments for training and development requests and programs
• Leads, trains and develops other trainers and employees to drive methodology and best practices throughout the business
• Works within the larger HR team to implement process improvement tools and processes; optimize learning management system (LMS) and other resources to leverage e-learning technologies to support a geographically diverse employee population with various schedules
• Support the development of current and future leaders through assessments, coaching and development plan design
• Other duties as assigned

Other information:
• 5+ years of experience driving Learning and Development design, implementation, and management
• 3+ experience with adult education and curriculum development, including experience with eLearning tools (Captivate, Articulate, any LMS)
• Comprehensive knowledge of organizational learning and development in support of business priorities
• Understanding and application of adult learning theory and instructional design principles across various cultures
• Experience developing training in a variety of delivery modalities (virtual, hands-on/experiential, instructor led, remote classroom, synchronous/asynchronous) for a variety of audiences
• Demonstrated experience in organizational development, planning, service delivery and evaluation
• Program Management experience that includes managing multiple cross-functional projects and initiatives
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

• Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Management, Education or related field
