The Benchmark Lark Technology business unit is expanding and we need a proven business leader to focus on growing our RF/microwave assembly business, with commercial and manufacturing activities in Phoenix, Arizona and additional manufacturing operations in Tijuana, Mexico.  Our ideal candidate has a strong RF/microwave technical background and solid experience in the manufacture of high performance microelectronic assemblies that are part of critical applications from Defense and Aerospace platforms to emerging commercial 5G telecom systems.  A background of achieving revenue growth by working directly through a broad and varied sales network is essential to success in this role.  It’s a fast paced start-up like environment where your technical leadership is crucial to our future growth.


  • Develop, deploy and execute business and operational plans, technical strategies, including sustainable growth targets that achieve financial goals
  • Recognized subject matter expert with deep knowledge of RF/microwave and/or high reliability highly regulated microelectronic assembly market trends, customer needs, and competitors. 
  • Works effectively within a matrix organization including multiple sites, sales sectors and product/service areas.
  • Establishes appropriate partnerships, relationships and processes to execute strategic and tactical plans 
  • Analyzes and understands Industry, customer and competitor business strategies, technology trends and market needs to create future product/service plans, expansion, acquisition, and outsourcing activities with alignment to Benchmark global strategies 
  • Develops and execute plans to achieve booking targets working through multiple sales channels, internal and external. 


  • Proven experience in promotion and sales of manufacturing and/or engineering services in an engineering, business development, marketing & sales or leadership role with a track record of deploying new manufacturing services and technologies, developing new customers and winning new business 
  • Ability to provide technical leadership as the recognized SME (Subject Matter Expert) for microelectronics assembly technology in a team sales environment
  • High degree of business and financial acumen as well as sound strategic and tactical decision making 
  • Solid experience in creating effective strategies and business plans to capture new business
  • Effective in assessing markets, technologies and business opportunities to create long-term revenue growth
  • Strong understanding of commercial contracts and expert negotiating skills 
  • Proven ability and track record of interfacing with and developing strong interpersonal relationships with senior level engineering and program management at customers, suppliers and other industry partners


Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline is required
