Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and conduct division wide training and education activities for the division • Coordinate external training activities • Identify and assist in developing training curriculum utilizing both internal and external sources
• Oversee training databases
• Develop and maintain training reports on dollars spent, training performed, schedules, etc.
• Administer Tuition Reimbursement program • Evaluate the need for specific training per department, level of position, type of job, etc.
• Supervise 8-12+ employees (trainers and administrative assistants) in areas including, but not limited to, direction, performance evaluations, counseling and goal-setting
• Recommend and select new hires
• Recommend and perform disciplinary action up to and including terminations
• Interact with other divisions to coordinate training efforts; Interact with all departments on meeting division administrative needs
• Identify goals/objectives to improve the efficiencies and performance of training and administrative functions
• All employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds Customer Satisfaction
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in training/curriculum development; 3+ years in a leadership role in a multiple or large site (600+ employees and associated revenue/customer base)
• Advanced database, spreadsheet, word processing and presentation software experience
• Demonstrate confidentiality
• Demonstrate effective communication, both written and verbal
• Demonstrate effective leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to support an all shift production atmosphere
• Demonstrate effective presentation and facilitation skills
• Ability to travel to other sites as requested

Education:
• 4 year degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management
